School and Parents
Aims of
the school
We
expect that all children will:

develop their full potential both academically and socially;

receive a broad and varied education;

develop initiative and responsibility;

show care, courtesy and consideration at all times.
All
parents are encouraged to be involved in the learning of their child by:
-
listening to children read;
-
talking with children;
-
offering help within the classroom;
-
regularly discussing with teachers, their child's education and development;
-
offering their own expertise to help children in school, for example by
talking about their occupation or hobby, assisting with sewing, pottery,
woodwork etc.;
-
raising money or identifying other means of increasing the resources of the
school.
The success of
Ballifield
School depends on excellent co-operation between parents and teachers.
