    This site provides advice on all aspects of Internet safety for schools and Local Authorities. It includes advice on Internet filtering, the use of chat rooms and e-mail in education, the use of pupil photographs on school web sites and lots of case studies of good practice.

    Kidsmart is an award winning practical internet safety programme website for schools, young people, parents, and agencies, produced by the children's internet charity Childnet International. 
  • Teaching Ideas
    'Teaching Ideas' is for teachers who teach primary-age children (i.e. ages 5 to 11). Although it has been designed with UK teachers in mind, all ideas can of course be used by teachers around the world. The ideas, activities and worksheets are organised according to a number of subjects (those covered in the English National Curriculum).

    This website is full of games and activities which entertain and educate. 
  • Nature Grid
    A virtual tour of nature reserves in Kent, England supporting environmental education, teaching and research in schools and in universities. 
  • Topmarks
    Topmarks Education aims to provide easy access to the best educational web sites, help teachers use the web in the classroom and help parents to support the education of their children.  
  • Early Years Support Resources
    The material for this site has been created and developed by Early Years Practitioners with the support of Torbay Education Services and the Cornwall Early Years Development Partnership. It provides Early Years lesson ideas and resources.
