What type of learner is your child?
We don’t all learn in the same way, as you probably know from discussions in school. This also means that the most effective ways for some people to revise are often not the most effective ways for others to revise. Notes might work for some, tapes for others, diagrams and maps might suit you but using the internet might suit others better.  This guide explains the differences between different styles of learning.

Learning Styles Test
Knowing whether your child learns best by listening, looking or doing things can be a real help in working out how best to help them.  This link is to a simple questionnaire that may help you understand which type of learner your child is, and how to best explain things to them.
